1. About Us
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Shadi's Kitchen website and the purchase of meal plan services from us. By placing an order or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Our Services
Shadi's Kitchen offers weekly Persian meal plan delivery services across London. Each meal plan includes one main dish and one fresh salad per day, delivered on Mondays and Thursdays between 8–11 AM.
We offer the following weekly plans:
- 3 Day Plan — £70 per week
- 5 Day Plan — £100 per week
- 7 Day Plan — £130 per week
All meals are halal certified and prepared fresh from authentic Persian recipes. Menu options are subject to availability and may change from week to week.
3. Delivery Area
We deliver primarily across London. As our delivery coverage may vary by postcode, you must enter your delivery address during sign-up. We will confirm whether we are able to deliver to your location before your first order is processed.
If we are unable to deliver to your address, we will notify you and no charge will be taken. It is your responsibility to ensure the delivery address provided is accurate and within our delivery zone.
4. Ordering and Subscription
How It Works
When you sign up and select a meal plan, you will be charged immediately for your first week's deliveries. This is an upfront payment covering the upcoming week.
Your subscription then renews automatically every Friday at 23:59, with Stripe processing the payment for the following week's deliveries. By subscribing, you authorise Shadi's Kitchen to charge your payment method on a recurring weekly basis until you cancel.
Meal Selection
Each week you may customise your meal selections from our menu. Changes to your meal choices for the upcoming week must be made before Friday at 23:59. After this deadline, your meal selections will be locked in for that week.
Multiple Plans
If you order more than one meal plan (e.g. for multiple household members), a 10% multi-plan discount is automatically applied at checkout. Each plan can be customised independently.
Loyalty Programme
Every delivered order earns one loyalty stamp. Upon collecting 5 stamps, a 30% discount is automatically applied to your next order. Loyalty discounts are applied on top of any multi-plan discount. Stamps reset after each reward is redeemed.
5. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes. Prices are subject to change; any changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect orders already confirmed.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment processor. Shadi's Kitchen does not store your full card details. By providing your payment information, you confirm you are authorised to use that payment method.
If a payment fails (e.g. due to an expired card or insufficient funds), your order for that week may not be fulfilled. It is your responsibility to ensure your payment details are up to date in your account dashboard.
6. Cancellation and Amendments
Cancelling Your Subscription
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. To avoid being charged for the following week, you must cancel before Friday at 23:59. Cancellations made after this deadline will result in the next week's payment being processed and that order being fulfilled as normal.
Amending Your Order
Once a weekly order has been confirmed (i.e. the Friday 23:59 deadline has passed), it cannot be cancelled or amended. You are responsible for ensuring any changes to your meal selections or subscription are made before the deadline each week.
Pausing Your Subscription
If you wish to pause your subscription rather than cancel, please contact us at info@shadiskitchen.co.uk before the Friday 23:59 deadline. We will do our best to accommodate your request, though this cannot be guaranteed.
7. Delivery
Deliveries are made on Mondays and Thursdays between 8–11 AM. We will make reasonable efforts to deliver within this window, but delivery times may occasionally vary due to circumstances outside our control (e.g. traffic, weather).
Failed Deliveries
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful (for example, if no one is available to receive the order or the address provided is incorrect), we will:
- Attempt to leave the order in a safe, sheltered location if one has been indicated on your account or communicated to us in advance
- Contact you to arrange an alternative solution where possible
As our meals are fresh and perishable, we are unable to guarantee re-delivery in all circumstances. If a delivery fails due to an incorrect address or missed delivery where no safe place has been designated, Shadi's Kitchen will not be liable for the loss of that order and no refund will be issued.
Please ensure your delivery address and any safe place instructions are accurate and up to date in your account dashboard.
8. Refunds and Complaints
We take pride in the quality of our meals. If you experience an issue with your order (such as a missing item, incorrect meal, or quality concern), please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at info@shadiskitchen.co.uk with your order details and, where possible, a photograph.
Depending on the nature of the issue, we will offer either:
- A full or partial refund to your original payment method, or
- A replacement meal or credit towards a future order
We reserve the right to assess each complaint on a case-by-case basis. Refunds or replacements will not be provided for dissatisfaction based on personal taste preferences, or where meals have not been stored correctly after delivery.
Refunds, where approved, will be processed via Stripe and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
9. Allergens and Food Safety
Our meals are prepared in a kitchen that handles a variety of ingredients, including common allergens such as nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs, and sesame. While we take care to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any meal is completely free from allergens.
If you have a food allergy, intolerance, or dietary requirement, it is your responsibility to inform us before placing an order. Please contact us at info@shadiskitchen.co.uk to discuss your needs. We recommend that customers with severe allergies exercise caution. See our allergens page for more information.
All our meals are halal certified. We do not use pork or pork-derived ingredients.
Upon delivery, meals should be refrigerated promptly and consumed within the recommended timeframe indicated on the packaging. Shadi's Kitchen accepts no liability for illness or adverse reactions resulting from improper storage or handling of meals after delivery.
10. Your Account
To place an order, you must create an account on our website. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account details up to date. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately at info@shadiskitchen.co.uk.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are found to be in breach of these Terms or involved in fraudulent activity.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the Shadi's Kitchen website, including text, images, logos, recipes, and branding, is the property of Shadi's Kitchen Ltd and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of our content without our prior written permission.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shadi's Kitchen Ltd shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our services
- Loss arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, traffic disruptions, or supplier issues
- Any illness or adverse reaction resulting from undisclosed allergies or improper storage of meals after delivery
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the value of that order.
13. Changes to Our Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our service at any time, including pricing, menu items, delivery areas, and plan options. We will provide reasonable notice of any material changes where possible.
Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
